Falling Leaves

LOVING THE LEAVES

So I love the Fall. I always have. Love the colors love the crisp mornings and how it warms up throughout the day. This year has been so much fun with the kids. The past few years the big trees just seemed like a lot of work when all the leaves fell off. This year was a different story. They loved coming outside with me to "help" me rake. I have to be honest they didn't really help that much with the raking but they did keep me happy while I worked. They have played for hours in the piles and piles of leaves. Most our neighbors have been done cleaning up their leaves for a while now but our tree loses its leavs late so we have been raking for the past week. I rake then come back out a couple of hours latter only to find a new layer for me. my neighbors are so nice they are always trying to give me any help they can. They have offered gadgets and bags. I see people drive by all the time and just laugh at the site of me with my three little kids all with rakes in hand just working away.
My little baby cakes is really starting to take off. She has been taking a step or two for the past month but now she is really getting daring. It is so cut to see her stand up in the middle of the floor and smile because she is so happy with her self. My little man is really doing well. he loves school and church. Well most the time. He did his first primary program a couple of weeks ago. He said "My Heavenly Father and Jesus love me." I think he had more moral support than any other kid. Ryan's parent came and so did my Mom and Kev. Elise was in town so she came with her crew too. I can't believe I have a Sunbeam. WOW. The middle marvel is the spark in my life. She has the sweetest voice you have ever heard. I ask her questions just so I can hear it. She love to draw more than any kid I have ever met. She always has a pen and paper in hand. the funny thing is that it has to be a pen. Nothing else will do. So that is what is up with us.

Trip to Kentucky

I went to visit my little sister a couple of weeks ago. I got to take just the baby thanks to my mother in law and my great husband. I was only planning on being there for 5 days but we where having to much fun to come home so we stayed a few extra days. I have missed my sisters that have moved away so much. I love going places but I love being with my sisters more. Thanks so much mom for taking me on one of the best trips I have ever been on. I will never forget this trip. I am trying to figure out a time to go see my older sister next. I can't wait to see her new town and home too. FAMILY ROCKS!!!!

All the things I want to remember
"want being the key word"

So are little baby had her nine month check up last week. She is healthy as can be and the happiest thing ever. If she is awake you will usually see a smile on her chubby little face.
Weight 18 pounds 14 oz / 60%. Height 28 1/2 inches/ 65%. Head was 95% .
She learned how to crawl about a month ago. She also can go from her back and stomach to sitting up. She has started to eat all foods. Her favorite is when he big sis decides to share her treats with her. Favorite thing to say is dada and always with a big smile. The only time I ever hear mama is when she is crying in her crib. She is in that clingy mommy stage but I don't mind. However, as soon as she realizes she cant see me the screaming starts. Happy baby though. Super easy going and so snugly. These are the words that describe her right now: chill, easy going, happy, strong, determined, fun, adorable, loving.
My little Row is so funny. She is cute as can be and such a hoot. She makes me laugh so many times a day. She is talking in full sentences and you can understand almost everything she says. She has been really affectionate lately which I have just been eating up. She hugs and kisses all of us about 100 times a day. She has gotten really into what is hers. She is no pushover that is for sure. She points her finger at you and gives anyone who makes her mad a stern talking to.( I have no idea where she gets that one) She is really blossoming and learning so much. the words I would use to describe her right now would be; fun, energetic, loving, fire cracker, smart, beautiful, independent .
My little man is such a great guy. He is really a smart caring little guy. He is doing really well with the girls and with his friends. He is loving church so much. He has the best SUNBEAM teacher. Is that not the perfect name for that age of little tikes. They really are just a burst of sunshine. He can be a punk-a-dilly sometimes but you never have to ask him to say sorry. He always will do it on his own, well most of the time. He doesn't like to do anything without his side kick Row. The 2 of them do everything together. I hope that next year the 3 kids will just be the best of friends like the 2 of them are. Favorite thing to say is WHY? That is a love hate sort of thing. I love that he is curious and hate that everything takes about 10 times as long. Words to describe him are; cool, hilarious, cute, sweet, changing.

So we had such a fun Memorial Day weekend. Ry took Friday off and he got Monday off too so we had a lot of fun together. We almost went to St. George but decided to stay home and find fun things to do around town. We had fires in are backyard fire pit. Went on so many bike rides and walks. We ate out way too much and had so many treats. They played baseball and even went to pet baby animals. The little guy liked it a lot more than sister, but she had fun too. As these pictures show, the kids loved having their dad all to themselves. I loved having him around too. I really have been trying to create great experiences for my children and for Ry and I because life is just to short. Ryan lost his grandpa to cancer a few weeks ago. We visited with him down in St. George just last month and he told us all sorts of great stories about his life. It makes you think about how short life really is. So live, laugh, and love every day.

STATE CUP CHAMPS
go sparta

I just had to do this post because I am so proud of my little sister. Her soccer team just won State Cup for the 15 year old girl premier league. For those of you that don't know anything about soccer like me. It means that they are the best of the best 15 year old girls in the state right now. I have to say it was a exciting moment for me as I watched her get the last save of the game and lay on the ball as the whistle blew . She is the goal keeper. Let me just do a little big sister bragging for a sec. Not only did they win sate cup but she had the least goals scored on her all year. That is all I have to say about that.

Cooper says the funniest things ever. I had to write this one down before I forgot it. So we were going to my little sisters state cup soccer game. I asked him to get his shoes on. He told me he should wear his soccer shoes because we would be at a soccer game. I said it was a great idea. Then the funny stuff started. He told me that he should no longer wear his sneakers because they make him sneak and sneaking is bad. He said get it mom sneak...ers. This story is way better in person but I had to put it out there for all to hear though. The way little kids brains work is just the best.

She learned to stand up in her crib. Two days after she turned 8 months. She is such a great baby.

Ryan's birthday gift. He has wanted one forever. A double bike trailer for the girls will be great this summer. It is also a jogger which will be nice for me.

I really never post pictures of me because of 2 reasons. The first no one ever takes pictures of me and second my hair always gets half done and ten someone needs me. As you can see in this rare picture.
Side note I love aprons. I live in them.

Husband

Ryan
Daddy

Happy Birthday 28Th Birthday
So my sweetest husbands birthday was yesterday. I would have posted yesterday but you know how life is. I don't want to miss the opportunity to write a little about him however, so here it is. I always update on my kidos but not him. Ryan is the best dad ever. I know this because of the way my kids light up when they see him pull into the drive way after a long day of work. He is so hard working. He works to jobs and still comes home happy and ready to give all of us love and attention. He is an accountant and a tennis pro. What a combo right? he is smart and funny and might I add he is HOT! Lucky me. This world is a better place because of my wonderful husband. He is always trying to improve himself and are family. We all love you Honey. I could go on and on but I will just say one last thing. Ryan rocks.

The Baby Face
She loves getting her picture taken.

Wanted to join her little sister in her crib. She just learned to climb in by her self. This could be dangerous. They love each other so much. the baby gets a little nervous sometimes when her big sisters hands get close.

This little girl will melt your heart and make you want t o rip your hair out in a span of 5 minutes. She makes me smile and laugh so much. I just want to squish her and kiss her. My little Houdini. WOW I love her.

I can't believe how big he is. My little man really is becoming such a funny little kid. He will always be my baby boy though. I know cheese right?

These three kids are the center of my world. my whole life revolves around them and their daddy. I am loving it so much. It is a crazy life and I"m loving every minute of it. Well almost.

I know that all stages of life have there rewards but there is something about the first few years of being a parent that seem special. I have almost been a mom for 4 years. What happens to time? My little man is just not that little anymore. However he is learning to do so many new things. He just learned to ride a bike(with training wheel). He loves it. Picked it out himself. He loves to play with all of his cousins and his little sisters. He loves his mommy so much right now especially when he gets tired. I have just been eating it up because I know I don't have much longer before he won't want to snuggle me anymore. He is just so much fun! I know all parents think their kids are smart and I am one of them. My little guy has the best memory, and he has a very large vocabulary. I really am just so lucky to be his mom.
